Mr. Feldstein has practiced in the area of commercial real estate his entire career, representing clients in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions.

Affiliations

Mr. Feldstein is a member of the Monroe County and New York State Bar Associations. He is listed in The Bond Buyer’s Municipal Marketplace, the definitive listing of qualified bond counsel (The Redbook). He has lectured at State and local bar seminars on commercial leasing and purchases.

Commercial real estate transactions include the sale, purchase, and financing (both permanent and construction) of commercial property, leasing (both landlord and tenant) of office, retail, industrial, and warehouse facilities, the development of industrial parks, and tax-deferred exchanges. Mr. Feldstein has also practiced in the public finance area, acting as company counsel, bond counsel, and lender’s counsel in various tax-exempt and taxable industrial development agency bond financings.

Experience

Mr. Feldstein has been a partner with Boylan Code since 1999. Prior to that, he was a real estate partner with Phillips, Lytle LLP, and with Nixon, Hargrave, Devans & Doyle (now Nixon, Peabody LLP), where he was vice chair of the real estate department.

Honors & Achievements

Mr. Feldstein was elected a Fellow of The New York Bar Foundation in 2022. He was also listed in Best Lawyers in America for Real Estate Law from 2011-2024. He has an AV Preeminent Attorney rating from Martindale-Hubbell and is an honoree of The Daily Record’s Power 20 Real Estate Law List for 2023.

Service

Mr. Feldstein has served on the boards of several local nonprofit organizations.  He is currently on the Board of the Joseph Avenue Arts and Culture Alliance.
