Bruce has practiced in Boylan Code’s Creditor’s Rights Practice Group since 2000. He was a partner for many years, and now serves as Senior Counsel. He has 50+ years of experience in debtor/creditor law, bank & commercial collections, and much more.

Affiliations

Long active in the organized Bar, he is a Past President of the Monroe County Bar Association. He was Secretary of the New York State Bar Association and has served for many years in its House of Delegates representing the 7th Judicial District. He served on NYSBA’s Executive Committee for 6 years. He chaired the NYSBA’s President’s Committee on Access to Justice and was a member of that association’s Special Committee on Public Trust and Confidence in the Judicial System. He is a Director of the New York Bar Foundation and former President of the Monroe County Bar Foundation.

He has represented secured creditors, creditors’ committees, and bankruptcy trustees in high profile cases such as Midtown Plaza, Interco Systems, Bristol Harbor, Valentown Museum, Sykes Datatronics, Marjax, Conlon Industries and Paul R. Dean, bond broker. He served for 20 years as a Bankruptcy Trustee in the Western District of NY.
