County and Town officials, this is for you! New York Municipal Insurance Reciprocal (NYMIR) and Boylan Code’s Donald Young invite you to attend a FREE seminar addressing the SEQR Environmental Assessment Form: Practical Answers to Common Questions.

To many, the SEQR Environmental Assessment Form is mysterious document that is often confusing and overlooked, raising as many questions as it answers.

Who is supposed to complete it? Why are there multiple “parts?” When must they be completed? How am I supposed to understand all of these terms I’ve never seen before? Fortunately, the DEC has made available a very useful resource which helps to answer many of these questions – the SEQR Environmental Assessment Form Workbook.  This course offers a “hands on” experience which aims to demystify the SEQR EAF. Together we will explore and utilize the SEQR Workbook to understand and complete the SEQR Environmental Assessment Form for a hypothetical project.

The seminar is on Wednesday, June 20th, in Allegany County at the Center at Belmont- Boces, 5718 County Route 48, Belmont, NY.
