Bio
Mr. Wood represents clients in a wide range of business transaction matters, including business formation, business acquisitions and sales, supply and distribution agreements, employment agreements, corporate governance, HIPAA compliance, and intellectual property matters. Mr. Wood is a member of the firm’s corporate department and also has extensive civil litigation experience.
His civil litigation practice focuses primarily on commercial litigation, real property disputes, commercial evictions, and trust and estate litigation. He has successfully handled cases involving breach of contract, shareholder disputes, covenants not to compete, breach of employment agreements, defense of employment discrimination claims, defense of constitutional claims arising out of zoning and planning decisions, surface water discharge, property damage, and personal injury.
Experience
Prior to joining Boylan Code, LLP, Mr. Wood was a partner at Chamberlain D’Amanda Oppenheimer & Greenfield LLP. Additionally, while an associate at Chamberlain D’Amanda, Mr. Wood served for over a year in an in-house counsel capacity in Eastman Kodak Company’s Marketing, Antitrust, Trademark, and Litigation legal group, providing legal counsel for a wide range of marketing, distribution, sales, service, and licensing transactions.
Mr. Wood is admitted to the New York State Bar, as well as the United States District Court for the Western District of New York, the Northern District of New York, and the United State Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of New York.
