Boylan Code is pleased to announce that Jack M. Battaglia has joined the firm as senior counsel, concentrating his practice on tax controversies and estate planning.
Prior to joining Boylan Code, Mr. Battaglia spent nearly three decades as a partner at Woods Oviatt Gilman LLP, concentrating his practice in civil and criminal tax controversies and estate planning. His extensive experience in tax law includes practice before the IRS, the Tax Court and Federal District Courts.
Mr. Battaglia lectures frequently on tax law topics and has authored numerous articles. He’s also listed in the latest edition of “The Best Lawyers in America.”

Mr. Battaglia is originally from Jamestown but has resided in Pittsford for nearly 50 years. When he’s not at work, you can most likely find Mr. Battaglia on the golf course or reading a good book!
