Bio
Mr. Hou has significant experience representing clients in state and federal courts, including bench and jury trials, appellate practice, as well as alternative dispute resolution. His municipal practice includes representing municipalities and governmental agencies, particularly with respect to town board, planning, zoning, and litigation matters. He is experienced in all aspects of trademark registration practice, copyright, and licensing transactions. He also advises clients with regard to matters involving confidential information, noncompetition covenants and trade secrets. Mr. Hou’s employment practice includes counselling clients and litigating claims on matters involving federal and state discrimination and employee benefits.

Professional and Civic Activities
Mr. Hou is currently the President of the Friends and Foundation of the Rochester Public Library and a member of the Board of Directors for PUSH Physical Theatre. He has also served on the Rochester Democrat & Chronicle’s editorial community advisory board, where he was a contributor to, and a featured author of, a variety of articles regarding matters of local interest.
